Like Manchester United, Tubosider itself is another North West based organisation with new and expanded facilities, a
striking new purpose built factory in St Helens which opened this year to meet strong demand for its products from many
sectors of the construction industry. |

Tubosider structures have been fundamental to hundreds
of contracts for the public and private
sectors, including
roads, airports, sports stadia, retail parks, schools and
hospitals. Recent projects include fully designed
systems for Tesco, Birmingham Airport, Homebase and
Plymouth Council.
Tubosider has seen a 25% increase in sales during
2005, thanks in large part to its thriving stormwater
attenuation tanks business.

Besides drainage systems, the company also produces
bolted plate and liner plate structures, acoustic barriers,
highway guardrails, parapet systems and rockfall and
avalanche barriers. Tubosider is the UK arm of Gruppo Ruscalla, the world
leader in corrugated steel products with a network of
subsidiaries across Europe and South America, but the
£2.5 million new site has been financed entirely by the
UK company from ongoing profits. |
