New Tubosider factory in North West    

“We needed much greater capacity to continue to grow the company, and the new site gives us a purpose built plant
and offices and extensive storage, plus the space to expand further over coming years. We already have plans to
increase manufacturing in line with greater demand,” says managing director Jim Dwyer, who has led the company’s
development for 15 years.

  
Tubosider has quickly taken on 25% extra production
staff, all in the fabrication department, and a new
operator training programme has been started in
pipemaking, the key element of the manufacturing
process. Apart from drainage pipes and stormwater
attenuation tanks, the company produces bolted plate
and liner plate structures, acoustic barriers, highway
guardrails, parapet systems and rockfall and
avalanche barriers.
