North West based Tubosider UK, the no.1 manufacturer of corrugated steel
drainage pipes and tanks, has expanded to a striking new purpose built
factory in
St Helens to meet strong demand for its products right across the
construction industry. The £2.5 million development has been financed entirely
from ongoing profits.
Tubosider enjoyed a 25% increase in sales for 2005, thanks in large part to its
thriving stormwater attenuation tanks business.
Tubosider structures have been fundamental to major public and private contracts
including roads, airports, sports stadia, retail parks, schools and hospitals for
almost 20 years. Recent projects include fully designed systems for Tesco,
Manchester United, Birmingham Airport, Homebase and Plymouth Council,
and
the company will shortly provide a stormwater management system for
new neighbours the St Helens Hospital.
